We're a gaming company, so we wanted to make the gift more industry-specific. The theme of this box is "Level Up". All characters are from our game and website mascot, both of whom are very popular. 2020 was a very difficult year, just like the hellish levels in the game. We got through it with this special "Level Up" to start the New Year with good wishes. This set of gift boxes not only keep the tradition but also looks more interesting. The main gift in the box is our co-branded handle, which looks very sentimental and practical.
在标题字体的设计上，我们把游戏手柄的按键形状进行符号化，让它们的形状和中式传统图案更加贴近。给了文字一个渐变的厚度，使它与盒子厚度呼应的同时也不显得沉闷。
In the design of the title font, we symbolized the shape of the buttons of the gamepad to make their shape closer to the traditional Chinese pattern. A gradient thickness was given to the text so that it echoes the thickness of the box while not looking dull.
我们将红包和游戏技能卡结合，通过更有游戏感的方式将新年祝福语送给每一个人。每个技能都是和这个角色所代表的游戏相符合，比如roguelike游戏希望快速通关，音乐节奏游戏希望能有更多的连击。
We combined red packets and game skill cards to send New Year wishes to everyone through a more game-like approach. Each skill is in line with the game that the character represents, such as roguelike games that want to pass quickly, and music rhythm games that want more combos.
最初我希望礼盒不要太厚重和坚硬，尝试了用瓦楞纸来做外壳，但是瓦楞纸的边缝太大，不够美观，于是换成了木质的轻量灰板。为了使锁扣更加立体，额外增加了一层厚度并且做了表面凸起。顶面采用了烫金的工艺，看起来闪闪发亮。
Initially, we wanted the box to be less heavy and rigid, so we tried using corrugated paper for the shell, but the edge seam of the corrugated box was too big. We switched to a lightweight greyboard made of wood. To make the latch more three-dimensional, an extra layer of thickness was added and the surface was raised. The top surface is stamped with gold, which looks shiny.
